If you’re interested in helping the gardens of Clark Park grow, please come to the new Garden Committee’s kick-off session on Saturday, June 18, 9:00 a.m., in Park A.
The majority of gardening that keeps our park lush and beautiful is done by volunteers. This is a community initiative, and we need all the volunteer support we can muster. Weeding, planting, and pruning are always ongoing. Join us to connect with neighbors and share our cumulative knowledge on plants while improving our community green. You don’t have to be an expert gardener. There is a wealth of gardening knowledge in our community, and on-the-job training and workshops are available. If you have experience, you may want to consider volunteering to lead a team or to teach others. Gardening may not be your thing, but there are other ways to help, such as communications with volunteers and organizing.
For more information, contact Lisa McDonald-Hanes at firstname.lastname@example.org, and watch this web page for news and updates. (We’ve also set up a new category, Gardening, and clicking on that category will get you all Web posts on the topic.)
