Hi park-lovers! You recently read about the Nature Conservancy’s attempt to set a Guinness record for “World’s Largest Picnic” in Clark Park that’s this Sunday, from 12:00 to 4:00. Two notes —
First, this picnic won’t be taking place *solely* in Clark Park. It’s a simultaneous event going on in numerous other cities across North America.
Secondly: the Guinness Book of Records is very strict about data collection. So the Nature Conservancy needs *two more observers* to help me log this event. We will be the unbiased witnesses for the record.
Observers will need to join the picnic around 11:00 am and stay until about 2:00. This entails taking some photos and completing required paperwork. Without this help, the Nature Conservancy can’t participate in the nationwide record attempt, so they would love some added support from the West Philly community. Any help is greatly appreciated!
