Spiral Q Peoplehood Celebration Sunday (10/21) in Clark Park 2:00 – 4:00pm

If you love the Spiral Q Puppet Theater Peoplehood parade, come by Clark Park at 2:00pm on Sunday (10/21) for their 2012 celebration. This year’s event will be more scaled down than previous years, but will prove to be plenty of fun and a fantastic event for the whole family.

On Sunday October 21st, in honor of Peoplehoods past and future, we’re having a small(er) gathering at Clark Park from 2 to 4PM. If Peoplehood is or has been important to you we hope that you can come celebrate this day in a different way. Pack a picnic to share with friends, bring a costume or flag for a small procession in the park and stay to watch the tiniest giant puppet pageant we’ve ever made and enjoy the drumming of the West Powelton Steppers. That’s right, no parade, no community workshops in the park, no huge giant puppet pageant, no festival in the bowl but a different kind of observance of a day we love so much.”
